It was a cool and cloudy day in the Garden--perfect for spring planting! As we all know, the weather has been erratic this year, so a comfortable day to plant bedding flowers and vegetables was welcome to the 33 MG's (including five interns) who worked on Tuesday. During our 10 (minutes) @ 10 (o'clock) gathering, Bob Loesche and Virginia White-Mahaffey gave us a overview of what is happening in the Therapeutic Horticulture beds this year. We look forward to hearing from our other garden leads throughout the summer. We also said good-bye to Patty Neame who is moving with her husband to a new home in southern Ontario. She is looking forward to new gardening experiences--and being closer to family. We all appreciate her hard work with Therapeutic Horticulture. Patty, Bob and Virginia look over the new TH bed.
